Our house panther, Grizzy, lays in a languorous black pool in the heat. She loves being warm, so I’ve turned all the air conditioning off in my office, opened the windows, turned on some fans, and I’m letting her soak up the summer heat. Lovely to give the house panther their heat-comfort, but please, if that "office" houses the writing computer, DON'T WRITE!While the house panther might like their old bones warm, no computer likes it hotter that ~75. For safest performance, cooler = better! Sure, you can maybe go a tad hotter, but depending on age/environment(dust)/design it does not like anything that might make you sweat! >.<
I am so sorry for your loss and having to make this decision. I know how you feel. We had to make the same choice last October, when our little tiger couldn’t get up any longer, even though laying in her own feces. She was already week on her hind legs for ages, but managed just fine. And then it happened all so fast…

I'm so sorry.It's amazing how cats capture our hearts so softly yet strongly. I understand your pain and cried piteously over my bosses. My mantel has a variety of urns for each cat.
