Welcome to Flirty Friday, the day in which Sidney Bristol and I talk about our online dating adventures. Be prepared for absolute stupidity, some snark, and the occasional WTFery. As always, there will be no naming of identities or personal information.

I don’t know how many times I have to talk about how little information these guys give. If you want someone to reply, you have to give a little. It’s not as if I want your life story right off the bat, because that’s a little creepy too, but something, just a little taste would be awesome.

So this particular site… I haven’t been on it in weeks. So I log in and there’s this message. Now I understand the French thing, because I mention a minor in French on my profile, so this guy thought he was being witty by saying “I must admit you are seductive” in French, but honestly, guy, it really doesn’t have the same effect when it’s typed rather than spoken. I might have been impressed if you could say it to my face, correctly. Typed… it just doesn’t have that same impact.

Here’s the other thing… What did he mean when he said he liked my description? Is it the way I write, the way I talk about what I like, the things that I said in my profile? I don’t know what that means! And that means, I don’t know what to say back because I don’t know what he’s talking about.

So, the verdict? Not as bad as some of the ones I’ve seen, but not a winner.
