Remember those peppermint trees?



I used them for my the labels of my homemade holiday gifts! This year my schedule has not allowed for as many of the fun crafts I like to do, but I was able to squeeze in some time for a little holiday fun.

But instead of cookies, like years past, I made peppermint bark! It was great fun and thanks to A Baker's Field Guide to Candy I learned how to temper chocolate. Plus, I got to made these cute little packages (I'm so proud):
