a prophecy
borne of attack
that would hijack
humanity
in the blowback

the messiah
would be distraught
at how the cross
brought no payback
as you praise sin
behind his back
and contradict
all he has taught

please formulate
how such a fate
predicated
on so much hate
fabricated
through plotted death
bringing justice
to its last breath
could validate
any true faith
and vindicate
