Publishing Updates!
As I mentioned in a previous blog post, I’ve been trying to pick up additional publishing credits this year (and into next). Along with my usual novels, I���ve found some success with my blend of romance (some spicier than others) and mystery.�� Here’s a quick run-down of stories that I’ve been working on, along with what has been accepted, what’s available and what to expect in the future.

Carol of the Bells
– Mid-Length – Release date: October 1, 2025This Hallmark-style small-town romance will be featured in the 12 Knights of Christmas anthology from Button Hall Publishing.

– Mid-Length – Release date: October 2025This cozy culinary mystery, featuring a lingonberry jam recipe, will be included in the Cooking Up Death Anthology from Camden Park Press.

This dragon shifter romance has all the tropes and takes place in Hawaii.�� It’s possible I just wanted to go to the beach when I wrote it, but it’s another Vivienne Cross novella.����

Another Vivienne Cross tale, this Vegas-based featuring a witch and a cursed casino, is in editing and will be going out to publishers soon!�� However, I have to admit that it’s in the same boat as Savage Hope (see below). I’m reluctant to let it get away.�� One way or another it’ll be seeing the light of day.

Novella – Release date: 2026I was going to submit this story about a girl on the run from her necromancer stepdad, but I ended up loving it too much.�� So I’m keeping it and will be adding it to my Supernatural series.�� It’s got horror story vibes, a motorcycle gang, and an army of undead roadkill.�� Look for this one to be out in 2026. A Bite of Paris ���
Novel –��Release date: 2026This full-length novel about a vampire who wakes up to find his house has been turned into a museum will be released in 2026 by Smashbear Publishing.�� This Ocean���s 11 meets What They Do in the Shadows story never fails to make me laugh and I’m looking forward to sharing it with all of you!

And now the 1 contest update!The Pacific Northwest Writer’s Association Literary ContestIn the Horror / Paranormal category: Paint for the Wild. At the prestigious Paint for the Wild gala, artist and daughter of the reigning vampire queen, Violet Dark, clashes with arrogant alpha wolf Shifter Roar Winters���until a massive demon attacks the party and forces them to work together.
And in the Speculative Fiction / Fantasy category my top secret fantasy story The Black Crown also made it to the finalists table! I’m looking forward to sharing more about this one in 2026.
