hats on chicks. also, announcing allychat.

Melissa Marr, Bethany Griffin, Kelley Armstrong, me, Margie Stohl, Richelle Mead. I’m not entirely sure what Margie did to this picture (the woman has Instagram skillz), but I like it very much. Also, we are wearing borrowed hats from the drama room at the school where the event was held, and I think we look superfab, especially because Kelley’s hat is actually a stuffed cat.
Smart Chicks last night was very, very fun (thank you, SLC!). They are in Vegas today, and I get to meet up with them in Edmonton for Thursday’s event (yahoo!). I’ve been to Canada before, but never for a book-related event, and I kind of can’t wait. If you live in the Edmonton area, I would LOVE to see you there!!
Also, for those of you who can’t make it to any events (or for anyone who has questions/wants to chat!) Penguin Teen is hosting the 2nd annual #allychat on twitter (and yes, I am a little embarrassed about the hashtag, but it’s fun!):
So, if you have any questions, I’ll be answering them over on twitter on Tuesday, September 25 from 8-9 p.m. EST (that’s 6-7 p.m. for us MST folks). Make sure you use the hashtag so that I see your questions!
Many thanks again to all of you for your support–as REACHED gets closer and closer, I get more and more excited/nervous. I can’t say how grateful I am to my readers. And I hope to see/”talk” with some of you very soon!
