Send Me Your Bubble Wrap!
Since I posted about art pricing yesterday, a couple of people have offered to send me odds and ends of art supplies, which would be awesome. But I forgot to mention that, piece for piece, I probably spend more on packaging materials than I do on art supplies. I have a horror of something arriving damaged, and bubble wrap is ridiculously expensive. I use as much recycled material (newspaper, plastic carrier bags, stuff from packages I've received) as possible, but I still end up buying a lot of crap.
So if you'd like to recycle some trash and help out a semi-starving artist, one way you can help is to send me your used, clean bubble wrap! It's bulky, but you can stuff quite a bit into a padded envelope or small box, and of course it's light. Even a couple of sheets here and there will be useful. Here's the address:
