Hey guys! :Waves: with blog hops and birthdays I’ve missed you the past few weeks. I had a great time talking about loving yourself. It made this month a hard act to follow. Then I realized the answer was right in front of my face. We grow up, get busy, marry, have kids, and our lives start to feel like they’re about everyone else at times. Now I’ll be the first to tell you my motto is Family First, but if you’re not nourishing not only your body, but your soul. You’re a watered down version of yourself. I think it’s important you make sure you get a turn. It’s something I tell my kiddo often. Every gets a turn to do what’s important to them, she’ll say “It’s not my turn right now?” and I’ll say, “No.” It hit me recently it’s been a scarily long time since this “Moma got a turn.” So, here I am prepping for a journey geared toward my interests.

People often wonder what inspires me and makes me “geek out.” The amazing world that is Supernatural. No, not the unexplainable things that go bump in the night the show with Sam, Dean, Bobby, Castiel… no? *jaw drops. You’ve not experiences this bag of awesome for yourself… don’t worry I’m here to help.

No, this isnt’ a plug they’ve hired me to do. ( I WISH!) This is my taking my own advice and treating myself. I’m taking the weekend off, packing up, and heading over to the Supernatural Convention in Las Vegas! I am so excited! It’s been much too long since I’ve feed my inner child a tasty morsel, and as a writer that’s so important.
