Chain Reaction is book based during World War 2 and is an alternative
version of history. Jordan Pierce is a former detective now turned
security guard. You find out that he was turned into a vampire one
random night and that is why he now works the midnight shift and had to
leave his previous life as a detective. Pierce finds himself longing
after a woman, feeling something that he hasn't felt since he was
turned.

He gets himself involved with the mysterious Phenom
League, a group of misfits freaks that have similar abilities to Pierce.
Chain Reaction has many exciting events that take place and honestly
speaking it really surprised me. Reading the synopsis, I wasn't really
sure what to expect from the story as a whole. It's really a story like
any other that I have read, it has history, paranormal and romance all
wrapped into one awesome story line.

I really liked how this
book was from a male's perspective, it's not something I normally read
but I loved how descriptive it was. Chain Reactive is the first in the
Phenom League series and I look forward to reading more. This book was
really exciting to read and you can tell that there is just so much
history involved and so much research that had to be put forth. I'm
really glad that I got the opportunity to read and review this book.
