Life Drawing

Very happy to announce that my short story Life Drawing written for the Love Has No Boundaries event on the M/M Romance group went live today.

If you are a member of the group, it can be read here and it will also be available for download at the official site for the event soon and that is here.

Many thanks to Dorome for the inspiring prompt, and all those involved who work so hard on this annual event. Jen's team has done an amazing job. Special thanks to Barb, my wonderful editor and Alexa who read it over for me before submission to make sure, as ever, I wasn't sounding too English!

July 2! Two weeks on Tuesday. I hope people like it...we took it a different way than we'd planned.

Tell me a page number (1 - 262) and I'll give you a non-spoilery paragraph from it ;-)

Vivian PS--I'm going for a 5 mile walk for gelato--if you don't hear from me shortly it's cause I'm on hoof.

SQUEEEEEE!!!

Heh, that's a short page and the end of a chapter. Okay:

“You say new like I’ve been bringing a whole parade of them home,” Vin complained.

“He isn’t one you’ve had before, so he’s new.” She raised an eyebrow, a trick she’d spent a summer learning. “See the logic, baby bro?”

His reply was automatic. “Don’t call me that. Ever. Jeez.”

She looked intrigued. “You want me to come up with something worse? Really?”

Vivian Oooohhh...that's sneaky good, but I want MORE! *pout

Does pouting work? I had blood orange, sea salt caramel, and amaretti--a piccolo cup. Yum.

By a weird coincidence, they had a sale on posh ice cream at the supermarket yesterday and we got three small cartons of passionfruit, madagascar bourbon vanilla -- and sea salt caramel which is what I had for dessert :-)

Pouting would work totally but if I keep going, I'll be in trouble because I'd end up posting all of it ;-)

Last bit!

“You’re weird, Vin,” Patrick had told him one night at a party, blinking owlishly at him. “You’re the only sober one here, and it’s like you’re not here. Tell me you’re an alien. Please? It’d make me soooo happy.”

“Why?”

Patrick had caught his lower lip between his teeth, flirting shamelessly with eyelashes frosted silver at the tips. “Because eventually it’ll be probing time? My ass takes extra large, honey, and don’t forget Earth boys need lube. Lots of it.”

Vivian Yummy...Patrick sounds adorable and sassy. What happened with him and Vin. Shoot! Only three weeks, right?
