I'm very sad. Zoe's been aggressive toward Emma for quite some time now and after some research, I discovered that female boxers should never be placed in homes with other females! Zoe is half boxer and definitely takes after her mom. From everything I've read, the situation will only get worse now that she's an adult and it's not fair to Emma to let this go on. I wish the rescue people had warned us of this when we adopted her, but they didn't and it said right on the adoption form that we had a female dog. I'm really stressing out about it. I've contacted the rescue organization and they can't take her but said they would give me the name of a trainer who knows how to work with aggression. Maybe that will help.
Aside from that, Zoe is a great dog. She's playful, beautiful, a clown, and scary smart. She's the only dog we've ever had that knows how to "shake a paw". She loves to fetch. She's fine with Jackson and people, but I'm worried that she might seriously hurt Emma and that's not fair to Em.
