So, the world that Over the River exists in was introduced in Ghoultown. Dark spirits and dark beings/beasts have always existed, as have humans with the gifts to deal with them. The First Dark and First Light are the most dangerous, and oldest of the beings and beasts- they’ve been toying with humans since we stood on two legs. It’s a dangerous world, but humans have learned to co-exist with the dead, and learn how to protect themselves or find someone who can protect them from the dead and the dark…or Light. Some of the ancients of Glory are not pleasant.

You also met Delilah and Milly, the two main characters in Over the River, in Ghoultown. Only now they’re in their early thirties instead of their late teens and are working in the private sector hunting down the darkest of the dead and the wickedest of dark beasts and beings (non-human entities). Over the River is the first of trilogy involving Delilah and Milly, and the cases are dark and gritty and not for the faint of heart. On October 1st (or, with some luck, before that!) I’ll have the book trailer up for your viewing pleasure I love it and can’t wait to share!

As a side note, also next month, I have a paranormal romance coming from Entangled Publishing, under my pen name Libby Bishop.
