What a Week!

This has been a week to celebrate—and yes, I know it was my birthday last week—but a number of really fun things have happened. First off . . . trumpets, please . . . I finished writing the next Rose Harbor Inn series book due out in 2014.

Secondly, our good friends Gary and Marsha Roche, are visiting from Pennsylvania and we were on the Seattle waterfront playing tourist and feasting on seafood, and third . . .and this is big . . . our local library, after undergoing 2 months of renovation, has reopened, I just returned from the ribbon cutting ceremony. The library celebrated with wine, women and song. Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, coffee, cupcakes and cheers. It was wonderful to see fellow author, Gregg Olsen, at the event as well. And Sunday is the Seahawk football game. Yup, it's been a grand week.

Elaine Happy birthday, Debbie. Can't wait for the new book to come out. Love your books so much.

Courtney Happy Belated Birthday! My Grandma loves your books. She has read every one as soon as they are released. :) I know you are busy and get bothered all the time by people, but I would love to give my grandma one of your books with your Autograph. See buys the books so fast I have no chance to surprise her with one. But if I could give her a signed one she would be thrilled. Thanks. :) hope your birthday was amazing.

Merry Happy belated birthday Debbie. I am now reading some of your older books and really enjoying them. I started reading your Cedar Cove books and never read some of your older ones. Looking forward to your newer ones too!

Debra Thank you so much for your support of your local library. It warms my heart to see active involved library patrons. There are so many people who benefit from library services that could not afford these services. Heck, I couldn't afford my reading habit. You are a treasure in so many ways.
