I abandoned my manuscript yesterday afternoon and went with my DH to see the movie, Captain Phillips.

This is the true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama, the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years.

You can tell a movie is engrossing when it is over two hours in length and the passing of time means nothing to the viewer. I was literally on the edge of my seat for much of the last half of the film....
