Wow! It’s been a brrrrr last few days. The geese are heading south!

Today Mom and I have been putting those blow dryer type plastic sheets on the basement windows.

We had discovered lots of cold air was breezing in. Those windows are 50 years old…not energy efficient. We hadn’t realized it was that bad. Looks like we will be investing in new basement windows come spring. Argg$$$.

On a good note CheeChee seems to be taking the loss of Emily all in good stride. I guess that is a good thing. Below is Emily’s last picture, taken about 48 hours before she passed. Such a sweetie.
