Marissa Johnson I just finished reading The Book Thief. I enjoyed reading the book, mostly because death was the narrator. It put a unique spin on the whole book. I had never read a book before when the narrator was not a human. Death lifts up everyone’s soul when they die, and I like how it was explained throughout the book. Death is around in the last moments of a person’s life. There was a story-line with Liesel in the book, but I think that death was supposed to be the main theme in the book. Everyone will meet death in their lifetime, but every person may have the opportunity to continue their life in heaven. Even though it is sad when death finally reaches a person, it is a part of life everyone goes through.
