This was another amazing story written by Teresa Mummert, and while I feel that books like White Trash Beautiful and Suicide Note (retitled The Note) are by far some of her best work, I thoroughly enjoyed Perfect Lie. The angst, and sadness emanating from the main characters, Delilah and Abel, is so palpable that their story tugs at your heart. YOu root for them, hoping that they will find their peace, and find each other, and when the epilogue rolls around, you.will.be.FLOORED. The twist in this book is unlike anything Teresa has written before, and you don't see it coming until the very end. 
You will laugh, because Delilah and Abel are both very sarcastic and snarky, you will cry because they've both lost so much, and you will fall in love with them because it's a beautiful woven love story that is impossible to ignore.
