Blowing soap bubbles is always a magical experience. The way the gossamer, iridescent orbs float on the breeze is a joy to behold. Here’s a boy in Rwanda showing how it’s done.

Angela Kelly, a
photographer from the Pacific Northwest, looks at ordinary things with a fresh perspective. She woke up one chilly morning this winter and decided to blow soap bubbles in the frigid air. They quickly froze and sank to the ground.
Encased in ice, a soap bubble is just as lovely, just as fragile, just as magical, and even more mysterious.
