This Week at HWBC:

Tomorrow we have a staged reading of the highly acclaimed play WOMEN written by Housing Works’ frequent guest Chiara Atik. The play is a mashup of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women and the hit HBO show Girls. Tickets are only $5, and it’s going to sell out so be sure to grab one now! More info and tickets available here.

On Wednesday night, DISH, our monthly food event is back, this time with The Way We Ate, Owney’s Rum, Luke Barr, and Charles Blackstone. They’ll all share readings and stories with hosts Kimberly Wetherell of Spirited and David Gutowski of Largehearted Boy.

Finally, Thursday, Seth Fishman, author of the brand new YA novel The Well’s End, and Téa Obreht, author of The Tiger’s Wife, will read fan fiction for each other. The event is named The Well’s Wife and The Tiger’s End, which is great and overall just representative of how the night’s going to go, so be sure to come out!

Check it out!  Tea Obreht and I will be reading Fan Fiction for each other at Housing Works on Thur March 6th.  Come on by!
