Review: TWENTY EIGHT AND A HALF WISHES

Hello Poetteers,

I have another review for you!

Twenty-Eight and a Half Wishes (Rose Gardner Mystery, #1) Twenty-Eight and a Half Wishes by Denise Grover Swank

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book has been out since 2011, so I don't care. I'm having subtle spoilers in my review!

The cover doesn't give much away. With out the tagline and blurb you wouldn't think it was a mystery but a love story. Even though there is lots of love in the book.

At first I didn't think it would be much complexity. But oh all the mysteries!! And all the emotions!! Her mom, her other mom and her aunt. Her sister. I love all the bonding. Oh and her dog! I love that she wrote a bucket list and made sure to do it all. That's what gave lightheartedness to this dark story.

I love her phrase crappy doodles. I love, hate, love Joe. Btw, what is his real name? You slowly can see all of this coming, but at the end there was a small part I didn't see coming. It scared and surprised me. But after much thinking it really didn't. It helped tie a loose end. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Love and thank you, Fida
