This Week’s Countdown

Now, for this week’s countdown post … As with last week, I’ll be giving away an advance reading copy (ARC) to one (or possibly more) lucky posters who comment on this post at www.clwilson.com

For every 100 FB shares or tweets, I’ll add a second ARC to the giveaway (up to four). So comment to win, and share/tweet to improve your chances! If tweeting, be sure to include either @clwilsonbooks #winterkingcountdown and a link to this blog in your tweet.

I’ll select this week’s winner(s) from blog comments on Monday, June 16.

Question of the Day: What qualities do you love most in a novel’s heroine? Things that make you really sympathize with and/or root for her throughout the course of a book.

R. Dewitt I like it when the heroine can laugh at herself and enjoy her lover's humor. Too many books make the woman jump to the wrong conclusion when the man says the wrong thing. She needs to be secure in herself. A past always helps, because we have all fought our demons. It makes her easier to relate to and I can put myself in the story and imagine that I am the one with witty comebacks and sexy thighs that don't create sparks when they rub together ;-/
