One Ordinary Sunday, With Bees
A quiet Sunday. My trainer, Todd, arrived this morning, took me for a walk and a bike ride. Bill and Sharon Stiteler arrived, along with my assistant Lorraine, and the four of us went down to the beehives: all the bees are doing well. They're "Minnesota Hygenic" bees, a variety of Italian Bee. On Thursday (we think) the three packages of Russian Bees arrive, and we will install them in waiting hives. I love bees, though my sister had a mishap with them today. Apparently they've nested somewhere in her apartment and she's not allowed in until they've been removed. Beyond random!

Ack! Wasps are one of the few bugs I don't like. One stung me on the leg out of nowhere when I was little.
I keep some italian bees, too, they're very docile, walk around on me. it's nice, have one exploring my desk right now....

I came up and noticed one across the pool struggling for life. Once I got her out of the water she took off all happy. :D
