We made it through our week without devices, though I caught my husband doing some Clash of Clan battle and the boys caught me answering a few emails.

The boys were not thrilled with the idea when we presented it Sunday night, but they did remarkably well. We had a lot of fun together and I absolutely loved the way they used their imaginations to build rafts in the swimming pool, come up with numerous versions of Risk, and wrestle and play fun games with their younger brothers. I was also thrilled with all the work we got done. Sometimes they complain that we work too hard, but I assure them that boys were born to work hard, and then I make them cookies so we're still friends.

It was a great week, I just wish we could have extended it for a few years or so.
