Heaven and Hell

I pray that you will notBe so afraid ofThe life after this oneThat you would forgetThis one right nowYou believe in the storiesOf Heaven, of HellAnd that’s okayBut this life is a story tooAnd you’ve got to write itYou don’t write it out of fearYou write it out of Courage and FreedomSo let’s sayThere is a Heaven and a HellBut there is an Earth tooAnd you have bones in your bodyAnd flesh under your skin
So I pray
I pray that you will not Be so afraid ofThe life after this oneThat you would forgetTo be happy right nowTo be unafraidTo know that you are free To write your own story
