Woo-hoo, it's October! My favorite month of the year :) I spend most of the summer looking forward to this month and now that it's here, I can't wait to get out there and do them. My current plans are:

* write 20k. I came pretty close to last month's 10k challenge (9,400 words) and I'm hoping to do better this month.

* write a couple posts for DIK (I've got one up now :).

* make pumpkin pot pie (during the summer, when I'm longing for October, I'm also lamenting the fact that pumpkins aren't in season yet. I LOVE this dish).

* go to the pumpkin patch, buy a ton of pumpkins for cooking and carving, and then get lost in the corn maze (I don't actually plan to get lost, it just happens every year).

* make a new action figure just so I can make it a different Halloween costume every week (I fear that if I dress up Sorin I'll start thinking happy DD thoughts, which pull pull me away from the revision. If it's just some random guy, I'll be able to think happy revision thoughts. This will likely lead to...).

* figure out if the new doll is going to be Andrew or Devon.

* make more pumpkin pot pie (when September began, I started looking for pumpkins at Safeway. Sadly, none appeared until the last week).

* finally make it to the Pirates of Emerson haunted house (we've been meaning to go to it for the last two years but have yet to make it there).

* carve pumpkins (we used to decorate like mad. Now we just carve a ton of pumpkins and place them around the head-on-a-stick figure. It looks really awesome).

* buy more pumpkins so we can make more pot pies (the dream is to freeze a ton of it, so come next summer we can thaw it out and enjoy).

* go to Yaoi Con (so many things to buy and people to hang out with).
