This week I had a school visit in Griswold, Connecticut so I drove down a day early to spend it with my friend Debbi who lives in Mystic, CT.  Debbi has a dog named Trixie and two ducks named Darcy and Lizzie. Here I am with the ducks!



Debbi and I visited the Mystic Aquarium. So cool!



The seals loved the children!



I loved the penguins!



There were three beluga whales, too.



And Debbi patted a ray. It's a wonderful aquarium. I had such a nice time with Debbi.

The next day I had a lovely visit to Griswold Elementary School in Griswold, Connecticut. There were lots of nice moments, including one kindergartner who spontaneously yelled out, "This is the best day EVER!" when we were done reading Hot Rod Hamster Monster Truck Mania.
