The world is in bad shape, and in many cases, there’s little we (the United States) can do about it. What we can do is get our own house in order. The basis for a rebirth of American can be achieved legislatively. It will require political courage, but the results will echo throughout our entire socio-economic system and may give the inflamed countries of the world hope. The following outlines steps I believe we should take to accomplish this:
