So this just happened ...

As an erotic romance author I understand and appreciate that my books are for adults only. Some adults are offended by the dirty talking and the sexually graphic scenes, which I really do get. I don't let my parents read my books for that exact reason. My books aren't for everyone. There's a warning of what you will get in my books (the harsh language and sexually explicit scenes) at the beginning of each book, as well as at the very beginning of the summary on the product page. But for Amazon to tell me this about All In: Calling His Bluff is ridiculous:

"We have found your Kindle book contains adult content. Books with adult content will not surface in general product searches ..."

Sure, I know Amazon doesn't want my books, which have sexy covers, popping up when kids are searching for books on unicorns or when grandmas are looking up recipe books. But to refuse to allow my book to appear in the results when the exact full title is entered in the search field is ludicrous.

Now I'm having the covers of my books, the two with two men's arms covering the entire breast area of two women, redone. It pisses me off that I have to do this just so that someone looking for my book, typing in the full title, will be able to find it. I shouldn't have to do this, especially when there are covers out there much more revealing than mine. Either way, lesson learned.

Doing some research, it seems that women on book covers must be completely covered, but it's okay for men to let it all hang out. For my next series about super sexy MMA fighters, I'll be sticking with pics of half-naked hotties on the covers just so I won't offend anyone.

Goodbye old covers. You show less skin than most bathing suits, but you're nevertheless inappropriate.
