I have one of those Incase sleeves for my laptop. You know the ones: padded, lined with fluff, looks like a big puffy envelope. When I’m not using my laptop (which is basically only when I’m asleep), I put it to bed in its own little sleeping bag.
And then the corner got bent.
It didn’t mean I couldn’t use the case anymore. It just needed something on top to re-flatten the case.
I thought about books. I thought about my books — the big box of promo copies I have of The Dark World, specifically. (It’s really heavy.)

And then I realized I had the perfect thing to go on top.
My cat, Kc.
I get my case re-flattened. He gets to sit on something that isn’t his cat bed.
Win/win.
It was easy, really. I simply put the case on the floor, next to the couch and left the room. Less than a minute later, I returned to this:

Who says you can’t train cats to do what you want?
