It's gone!

Alexa and I sent 'The Final Round' off to Serena, our editor at Loose Id today. 94,000 words give or take and 255 pages.

Comment with a number between 1-255 and I'll post a non-spoilery sentence from the relevant page :-)

Sadly no smut :-)

The thick, raw pain in Shane’s voice and a thud that had to be a fist slamming into a wall had Ben moving quickly to his side.

It's fun revisiting bits of it!

“Come on. If we’re going to dwell on the darkest parts of our psyches, let’s at least do it while we’re walking.”

Optimist ♰King's Wench♰ Uh oh, Shane haz a sad? :(

That page has my favorite bit in the book (it was Alexa's idea and I practically wept I loved it so much).

“You aren’t the sort to do things by halves, Benedict. I want all of it. All of you.”

Heh,that's a page where I have to be careful not to give too much away.

Alfie sounded like he was reading from a self-help book about having a positive attitude; Shane found it infuriating.

Here is a page 85 line:

He supposed everyone else had cried on hearing the news, then dried their eyes with a platitude or two.
