My granddaughter Maddy and I share a birthday. This is a big year for Maddy Rose who turns 16.  Naturally she’s chopping at the bit to drive. The afternoon she was born was one of the most wonderful days of my life.  I was thrilled that my daughter had gone into labor and told her I’d meet her at the hospital.  However on the way there I got sidetracked telling everyone in town that Jenny Adele was having the baby on my birthday.  To make a long story short, I was so busy talking up the exciting event that I missed Maddy’s birth.  I have yet to live this down.  This is one special young woman and I can’t wait to see what God has planned for her life.
