I would first put the book into my jacket and stuff it into the bottom of my bag. Then I would push my bag under my seat. And pretend to be sleeping. And by the way Agent A, what if they woke up and discovered the book in their lap and then notified the bus driver, or if they started to read the book knowing the secerets within or dare I say it, if the midnight sun came on the bus and asked for the book that person might give it them and then all hope would be lost. So the odds are against you.
