As well as my newest adventure in to YA writing I have been a niche blogger for 8 years.  When you do that you tend to become friends online with other bloggers who share your niche.

One of my friends experienced (and is still experiencing) a horrible tragedy a four month ago. Her 15 year old daughter, Emma, was killed in an accident.

When I heard the news I was devastated for her.  My first thought was: "this is not real".
