I only read it about 8 times, in 2 different languages. Does that count? The book is huge, it would have been impossible to put everything in the book. It is one of the longest movies, even to the day. Yes, the movie wasn't 100% like the book. In this case, I prefer the movie version of Scarlett having only one child, with Rhett.
Obviously that counts. I may have asked a dumb question on a book site. I completely agree about what fits in a movie--I expect differences partly for that reason. But it was just too much for me, and why I recommend a trilogy if redone. And I respectfully disagree about the children, especially Wade.
