Juniper I don't believe it was the manor that swayed her opinion. I think it was his culture. I believe it was his culture. At Pemberley she saw all the art work and statues he kept, this shows her his eye for beauty. Also, when she hears the how fondly Mrs. Reynolds speaks of him. She tells Eliza how well he treats his sister, how kind of a master he is. Because of this she begins to regard him with warmth.


Read me two times yes I know, I was joking, but it's a fact that Jane Austen heroines always choose the rich one XD but maybe I speak for envy ^__^

Ravenal Monumental architecture influences us very dramatically. The solidity and solemnity of Pemberley's facade we saw dramatized so well in P&P'95 and Lizzie's reaction to it makes the wealth she's always known about irrelevant. Her comment to Jane was a sisterly joke.
