There are two volumes - this one (A Guide for Clinicians and Everyone Else) is about the core characteristics, and the second volume (A Companion Guide for Diagnosing) describes a methodology for the diagnostic process. This review seems to be about that second book, and not this first one. (As a side note, trying to use just the second book without reading the first book would be quite frustrating.)
