I’m on page 50 something and I can’t make any sense out of it! Really awful and maybe I will give up early too.
100 pages in and it’s not getting any better…
I made it about 100 in and I couldn’t tell you anything that happened except that one of the guys hurt his ankle. The writing is filled with so many useless metaphors/similies/descriptors….i have a feeling the book would be about 18 pages if they took all of that out.
On page 59. I don’t think I can go on. I picked up on the same things you did. Not likely to finish this one.
You missed the whole plot of the book, and you are better off for it. Believe me.
I also made it to page 100 and decided to end my suffering. Disjointed was the word I’d use as well. I was so confused. It took me 50 pages to figure out who was whose wife and kid. Super confusing. The language was awful. I hated this. I am so mad that BOTM let this garbage be a pick for the month.
I haven't read this, but I'm laughing about the basin sink line. I honestly have no idea whether the fact that it's fit for washing fruit indicates that it's deep or shallow.
