suvi As someone who grew up in a neo-paganism family, I at least think that your approach has been very fun but also acceptable. Norse Gods have always been close to my heart, even though my main religion is Finnish paganism. In my experience, the way people see the Gods may differ a lot even in small communities. I was around the same age as Magnus when the books came out and it made me very happy to see book series based on something that is important to me and thus make more people aware of it. There are others like the Marvel movies, which are fun as long as I think of them as a separate thing than as something that is based on my religion. Magnus Chase never really made me feel like that, it was a bit weird at times, yes but that's it. The Magnus Chase series has always meant a lot to me so I might as well take this chance and thank you for writing it!

Taryn My thoughts have always been writing ... you will never be able to please everyone. Not possible. So write what you know, but write what you want.
