It would make a superb movie or TV series!
I read this series in high school, and later on had a dream that the "Hater storyline was a brutal reality. Since then I've wanted to see an attempt at a screenplay. This answers a question I had.
At this point in media, many years later, perhaps you ought to take another swing at writing a screenplay and selling it to a streaming service as a broken down series. I 'm sure many fans would be very interested to see.
