Angie LOL Sadly, yes! Sometimes I'll use shortcuts like w/ for with or the @ for at, but mostly, I write every single word out by hand. Even doing social media I find myself using proper grammar and not using short cut "words" and it drives me nuts to see it. But on Twitter you can't help it, so I've had to adapt. lol
Usually I'll fill both pages in my spiral notebook, which I have to have in college rule, and I use to be very picky about having to have the most paged ones. But I noticed a store was having a sale on the 70 page ones after school started; 10 for $1.00, so I bought like $5.00 worth. I also had to go buy some for my now 9 year old daughter, who would steal mine and I'd go to write and she had scribbled on my clean pages. lol
I love gel ink pens, but the ones I've used in the past would be empty within a few writing sessions, so now I use the Bic and have moved over to the Paper Mate Ink Joys, medium tip, I think. They are so smooth to write with.
Thanks for answering my question! :) Can't wait to read the next book. I just purchased 'Firefly Lane' again, because I have no idea what box my other copy is in and we are getting ready to move in a couple weeks. Plus, I got 'Fly Away', because I know I'll finish the first in no time, since I just need a refresher. :-)
Best wishes!
