Sounds really good! My book club is reading a book Rosemary the Hidden Kennedy, and it's so sad to think of how people with disabilities were treated. We have come a long way in this respect. Can't wait to read Keeping Lucy!
I can't wait to read that! I have been working with the developmentally disabled for the past 9 years and have heard quite a bit about how they were treated historically!
I'm currently reading it. My mother read it in her book club, and gave it to me, telling me I have to read it. So far, so good; hard to put down!
