[close] [ only one girl can win the crown ] The Selection is a competition that’s been part of royal history since forever. Basically, there are thirty-five girls who are called the Selected. They compete for the Crowned Prince’s hand in marriage, and they also compete to become the Princess of Illéa. All of the Selected must be single and of the ages 16-21. They are sent to sent and fill out an application that will be returned to the State Providence Office, of their providence, with a picture of themselves. Upon being Selected, they travel to Angeles to meet the man whose affections they will be competing for during their entire stay at the palace. These thirty-five girls get a chance of a lifetime. They have the opportunity to escape their old lives, and to start anew. To be swept up in a world of glittering crowns and priceless jewels. That is if the Northern and Southern rebels don’t take away their one-in-a-lifetime chance. Will the prince be able to choose his bride before an all-out Civil War is unleashed in Illéa?
