[close] Join if you love STEM and reading! Now that the school season has started, I know that not everybody will have the time or desire to read a bunch of books per month. If you are here though, I know you do like reading so I want there to be the option to read two(2) books: a science non-fiction and a book of a genre we vote upon. Whether you really enjoy reading and have a small interest in STEM, or have a passion for STEM burning within your soul and like to read whenever you have the time, I hope you can find a community in this group. For now I would like this group to be for ages 13-17 (if you are 17, you can remain in the group until you turn 18. *this rule may change, I just want this group to help foster a love for STEM and reading in the youth*) You do not have to read science non-fiction books to join. The only requirements are that you enjoy learning about subjects of STEM and like reading! I am looking for moderators for the Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics groups. You don't have to be an expert in any field. An interest in the subject, time management skills, and leadership skills are all you need (even if you don't have the best leadership skills right now, I would suggest applying if you're interested) est.
