I randomly came across the author of this book, Suze Orman, through a YouTube video – and I completely fell in love her with daring personality. After the 2-minute video, I was convinced I had to go find this book! I took Suze Ormans’ advice, and instead of “wasting” my money on a book, I went to the local library to check it out FO FREE! … Now, even if I had spent the $12 bucks on it, it would have been one of the best, cheapest investments ever… This is a great basic financial literacy book, a 101 on personal finances for those just graduating college, or for anyone like me looking for ways to boost their money IQ. She covers topics on personal and student loan debt, tips on how you can save money, and how to buy a house or car, wisely! The highlight of this book for me was learning how important that 20% down on a house is, and realizing how many more years it will be before I get there!!! WAH!
Overall, I give this book a 4/5 since its outdated!
