Welcome to the 2018 Hogwarts House Cup Challenge! I'm Tori and along with Vrenzy we are the Hufflepuff house prefects. The challenge will run from October 1 to December 31 . To participate all you have to do is post any book you have finished, the number of pages, and the date you finished it in this thread! (I'm assuming we're all Hufflepuffs here, if you belong to another house please post your books on your house thread) Only books finished after October 1st count. You are welcome to join anytime even after the challenge has started. SCORING
1. Average books read per house participant will be the first method of scoring.
2. Total books read will be used as a tie breaker.
3. This challenge will feature a ROUND ROBIN TOURNAMENT with each month featuring a matchup with a different house. To count for a matchup, the book must be read within that month and posted no later than one day after the end of the month. We will not do late term adjustments, but books read in an earlier month (no earlier than October) can still count toward your house’s overall total. The winner of the tournament will be featured in EHRTBM Hall of Fame.
4. There will also be an Overall winner featured in the EHRTBM Hall of Fame.
Vrenzy and I will keep track of how many books each member has read and give Qudditch ranks to the top readers. If you want to see how everyone in our house is doing check out the list below.
As mentioned above this is a round robin tournament. Our opponent for December is Ravenclaw.

Maybe we should divide the number of books read by house by number of house members?
I liked seeing what houses everyone got sorted in last year, and I don't think I'd be as motivated to read for, say, Gryffindor when I'd rather be representing (my house) Hufflepuff. Of course, I'm completely obsessed with Harry Potter so I might take house pride more seriously then most people in this group.
First let me say thank you Marcos and Joanna for stepping up and keeping this group going. Both of you have been doing a great job! I don't want to overload either of you, so I completely understand if you do not want to start this challenge up again, but last August Kasey started the Hogwarts House Cup Challenge. I believe Kasey also said that we could start it up again this year, but she didn't want to have it run the entire year. Is there any chance we can start it up again in September?

I should have mentioned the current buddy read going on with my nomination. I wanted to save Frankenstein because I like reading horror around Halloween.
