Hi, Lynn. It's
www.timgreaton.blogspot.com. 'Hope the smashwords promotion does well for you :-)

Lynn, it's great to hear from you. I'm going to start spending some time with the amazing changes happening in technology. 'Hope you get a chance to stop by my blog where I talk about a Mars mission already accepting applications. Martin Jetpacks are now real and accepting orders. 80,000 colonists will soon be heading for Mars...and a lot more :-)

Hi, Norma. Google has developed a pair of glasses where you can view information from the internet while going about your normal life. It's the first step toward a true merging of the real world with virtual reality. Imagine walking down any street, seeing a stranger and having a tiny screen in the upper right of your vision tell you that this person used to be in an English class with you. Those same glasses could overlay a sign over the McDonald's restaurant across the street saying that burgers are on sale. I guess we could do without the advertising part :-)

The new Google Glass ads on YouTube are fascinating. I predict this invention will alter life and technology as we know it. History in the making.

Congrats on the 5-star, Norma. I did learn what is going on. Amazon is "testing" the removal of the like button. So it's happening sporadically and they're testing the impact on sales. No decision, good or bad, has been publicly announced.

That might just be a glitch, Jeff. I'm seeing Likes on my books. Although it wouldn't surprise if they do pull them. It seems that anything to help indies is also considered "abused by indies" so we're slowly losing exposure tools :-(

Sounds great, Jeff. It's definitely on my TBR :-) Don't forget to post at Amazon here
http://www.amazon.com/forum/meet%20ou...and here
http://www.amazon.com/forum/meet%20ou...BUT DO NOT post anywhere outside the Authors Forum on Amazon. They'll eat you alive.

Very kind of you to say, Linell, but when you write a great book like Story Time it's no chore to let everyone know. I'll be very curious to see your prequel when it's ready :-)

"Story Time" is a seriously great book, everyone. Download it NOW :-)
Norma wrote: "I agree with you, Tim. Good thing we love to read; otherwise, we wouldn't want to think of reviewing our manuscripts after they've been written. :)"Norma, we're supposed to look at them after the first draft? :-0
:-)

Do they have Cabana girls? :-)

Norma, Lynn,
I think that most writers share a passion for reading. Though life sometimes gets in the way, it seems certain that most of us would prefer to be lounged on a tropical beach with a drink (of choice) in one hand and a book or ereader in the other :-)

Sounds like it made an amazing impression, Jeff, and fortunately Norma and Lynn are always willing to share their positive thoughts with friends and readers :-)

Sounds like a winner, Jeff. With Norma's review it seems almost certain to be. :-)

'Hope you had a great weekend, Tee. I've been about as busy as can be and had my best sales month of the year so far :-)

He's a great guy, Lynn. Unfortunately, he emailed to say his house caught fire recently, so he might not be able to respond to everyone.

I'm pleased to introduce friend and author @CELemieux to my forum. He talks about his novel "Loving Deacon"

"I think we're back on track, Tee. I only wish I had a few clones to keep up with all these sites :-)

Teresa, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm glad to be getting our discussions flowing again :-)
