721 Well, I didn't quite make it to be a booklover or other categories but I had fun along the way.
Read 8 of my 12 that I set out to peruse. I also got through many more books than the 12 I set out to this year- over 30 so am happy.

Review: I "hid" this as it has spoilers in but not sure if people who have read the book do get to read my review or not. Or if to post here or not.
721 Thanks Phrynne :)
I am reading The Barefoot Investor: The Only Money Guide You'll Ever Need at present so considering swapping it for Bill Of Billabong for a Victorian text. Wonder if that's kosher for as it isn't a novel.

721 Completed Spirits of the Ghan by Judy Nunn

Review: www.goodreads.com/book/show/26161162-...

Ok so it looks like I'm slack as this is but my 5th book in this challenge, but in between it all I have managed to read over 30 other books so far this year - just not all Ozzie lit. So still happy with myself.
721 This is a fun challenge and I'm glad I found Goodreads as it's filled a long lost gap in this bookworm's heart of hearts. After going back to and then completing study as a mature aged student, my reading of books for fun went awol. They are now back!
However, somehow I've managed to read 31 of my 30 nominated books for the year with only a miniscule 3 being set within Ozzie despite having identified a full set earlier on in the year ... so I'm on a mission to now ban myself from getting sidetracked ... and planning to still reach my original target of 12 Australian books for the year.
Thanks for the ongoing encouragement everyone, and for the numerous, ok, zillions, of additions to my 'to read shelf'.
At this rate I need to live well into my dotage to get through at least half of the list :) Happy to though.

Bookstr changes :( (116 new)

721 I just looked at bookstr for the first time and lasted less than 5 secs on front page. The quizzes and what I suspect were meant to be enticing entry points to the site whizzed past way too quickly for me to be bothered to click and explore any further. It sounds as if this was a great source up til last year but clearly not now. I say-go ahead and request away in bulk please- and maybe they will see sense. At least you can post reviews elsewhere if not kept a copy.

721 Thanks Brenda - I will keep an eye out for it.

721 Ah I think I get the adding review hyperlink thing now. Thanks Kathryn. I misunderstood before and thought all I needed to do was to provide a link directed to the book listed in GR, when crossing out the completed book.
Will try this new method for my current 12 month challenge. (Around Oz states.)
Going good Lil Owl. You've listed quite a few I wouldn't mind adding to my list too- but will be good and stick to current listing for now. Hope your on the road to recovery soon. In the meantime happy reading:) Long live books.
721 Sorry I'm a tad tired so brain is foggy Brenda. To clarify: if I read a book for the Nov to Feb challenge that falls in this category too is that ok or is my first thought correct: must be one book: per one challenge.
