Developers Book Club

[close] What is Developers Book Club?
Developers Book Club is a bi-weekly meeting to discuss the content of a specific book. The books will be relevant to our job: computer science, programming, general business, etc. The primary objectives of book club are to facilitate learning, and build team comradery.

Prior to each meeting we’ll agree upon the number of pages to be read, and we’ll select a discussion leader. The discussion leader will come prepared with talking points and questions, and will facilitate the discussion. Everyone is expected to participate in the discussion, but the prepared talking points will help get the conversation going.

The books will be paid for by Six, and you are expected to read them in your spare time. Book club will meet every other Thursday, from 3-4. Meetings will take place a various locations, both on-site and off-site.

Book club is 100% voluntary.
