The Montreal Reading Circle

[close] 1. Meet on the second and fourth Fridays of every month at Thomson House on Rue McTavish, corner of Ave. Dr. Penfield.
2. Meetings last 2 to 2 1/2 hours, usually between 7:30pm and 10:00pm.
3. There are two types of members: (1) regular members and (2) drop-in members
4. Each meeting will have a book club leader responsible for inaugurating meetings, providing a general discussion question, moderating general discussion, moderating book discussion and adjourning meetings. Book club leaders will rotate every meeting, and this position is only open to regular members.
4. General discussions must be related in some way to literature.
4. Regular members are encouraged to propose legislation to ensure the continuity, evolution and smooth management of the Reading Circle. In addition, Regular Members have priority when presenting books.
5. Drop-In members are encouraged to participate in discussions and present a book that they have read (provided all regular members have presented).
