Assassin's fight for freedom and liberty, while Templars fight for war and slavery. This has caused an ultimate war between them, which has been going on for generations. While some Templars only joined because they were fatefully forced, others are mostly war crazed. Assassins fight for their beliefs, trying to bring the Templars to their end.
